The San Diego Padres are a Major League Baseball team based in San Diego, California since their founding in 1969. They play in the National League Western Division. The home of the padres is PETCO Park which is situated in downtown near San Diego's Gaslamp District, the main entrance located just two blocks from the downtown terminal of the San Diego Trolley system.
